Position Description
Our client, a well-established highway contractor has an immediate need for an experienced Asphalt Paving Foreman. The ideal candidate should have advanced experience with Asphalt paving working as a lead man or a foreman in the heavy highway.civil construction industry. 
 Highly competitive base pay (DOE). Company vehicle, health benefits, dental,vision,company paid life, long & short term disability, 401K.
Qualifications
*The responsibilities of the Asphalt Paving Foreman *Ensuring the safety of crew members and the public. *Training new crew members. *Calculating the number of trucks required to haul asphalt from the hot plant according to vehicle capacity, distance from work site, and productivity of drivers. *Touring job sites to ascertain progress in meeting time schedules, to detect insufficient utilization of workers and equipment, measure slope and material thickness to verify compliance with contracts, and to supervise the job. *Supervising and coordinating crew activities, studying production schedules, and estimating work requirements for completion of job assignment in compliance with or beating the job estimate. *Maintaining time and materials records necessary to complete daily job costing. *Maintaining company policy.
Responsibilities
 *High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
* 5 years of related asphalt paving required.
*Must have a valid Drivers Licenses (in good standing).
*Good communication skill are required.
*Successful completion of pre-employment  MVR, background and drug screening required.
